Orientation '10

Yo Peeps! Today I was being pushed around. Today I was a Sai-kang Warrior. Today I am tired. Today I made new Friends. Today I was a Listener. Today was Orinetation. Hahas. It was kinda Good and Bad. Logistics was kinda screwed. Hahas, but the main thing that inpacted me the most was a talk. I had a "sharing" session with a friend of mine. Hahas. We shared our problems and I found out ALOT more about her. Sharing is just so awesome. To find out that she found comfort from Christ really made me so touched. Hahas. Awesome day I had. Riding In The Rain

Yo Peeps! Hahas, just came home. Went for clique outing today. The weather wasn't really on our side. So ya, we took a very looooooonnnnnggggggg way to East Coast Park. Edwe's stupid idea. Anyways, once we reached, Sheng gave a suggestion, to cycle. Ah yes, JL did not no how to and hence, lead us to teaching her. We failed. Then, it started pouring. We soon found shelter. Me and Sheng continued cycling in the rain. Hahas, if all of us falls sick, 1/2 of the orientation comm will be gone. This very GL-ed lady shouted at me for accidentaly tapping her bag with my wet shirt. Geez. TL's dad fetched us home afterwards. Hahas. So There.

Carolling Was A Blast

Yo Peeps! Went carolling yesterday with church peeps! Hahahas, it was Awesome! Had lotsa fun, went to Lentor Residence on our first stop. Hahas. We sang to the Old Folks. Putting a smile on their faces meant a great deal for me. Drank barley water, went to the next stop. My aunts house. Caught by the speed camera... Sigh, Pastor Huang ain't gonna be happy. Shi Kai and the bunch was singing Jay Chou songs. Dorcas would be very happy if she was there. Hehes. Sang again, ate refreshments, Me, Hong Xun and Shi Min were gobbling down the food. Hahas, Caris was doing some random thing about eating and not eating. Girls played with the baby. It was very very awesome. Hahas. So There.

1. What course or issue makes my heart race?
2. Where could I make the greatest impact for God?
3. If time wasn't an issue, to what cause would I donate myself?

v. Know your ultimate dream for God's kingdom?
1) What pursuit would release the passion in my life for God?

Went Back To School...

Yo Peeps! Went back to school to change my uniform to a size 20. Right. Induction- Day 2

Yo Peeps! 2nd day of Induction. Attendance was Pathetic. I guess why people usually don't turn up for events like these is mainly because the first day was not impactful enough. They find the first day boring and? B00Mz. Right. Daisy started of with the Reception speech. I knew she was able to do it. She kept saying that the stage is not her thing, the stage IS for everyone. Its only whether you are willing to try or not. It turned out better then she would expect it to be. Hahas, great job! Confucious said: If Daisy can do it, so can you! Hahas. We learnt the Hoedown Throwdown. Me and Jonny were behind trying to pick up the dance. I am okay when its slow, but when day play the song, I can never ever catch up with the stupid beat. Sigh. Induction- Day 1

Yo Peeps! Induction was kinda okay I guess. I had to give a speech on public speaking. I would not say it was my best performance. I kinda stuttered and stuff. It was actualy fun to present such a "course" to all the peeps. Saw so many juniors...Hahas dunno why, but I actually miss them. KW was all quite and stuff, I was joking with Harith about toasters, YJ was the usual slap and hack. Chloe started pulling down pants, Shawn was always finding some way to disturb me, Jonathan was always going, "Mr Tay!" Yo Peeps! Went to school in the morning, induction and orientation meeting. Yes, the usual stuff, planning and the teachers came and guided us on what we were doing and stuff. Yo Peeps! Just came back from NTUC. Went shopping with my grandma. I love shopping at NTUC with my grandma. She will be always going: "Eh Chiestar! 帮我拿那个肉可以吗？" Hahas. Yo Peeps! I am BACK! Camp was very fun. I was a 房长and boy! It was sure a tough job. It taught me how to be patient with those kids. No really. Once, we were suppose to meet at 7pm for dinner. They decided to have their baths only at 6:55pm. Yep. Darn. Of course it taught me that being a teacher is not very easy. They broke a $150 lamp, made the whole room into a mess. You cannot really blame them. After all, they are still kids. On the last day of camp, we visited an Orphanage. Its actually kinda sad to see those kids ranging from as young as 2 years of age being parent-less. I actually give thanks for my Mum. We talked to the kids, spreading the Gospel with them via the wordless book. I felt so sad when I left... Good thing that my 'acting' brought a little laughter to their faces. That was enough. I had a great sense of satisfactory. My job, is done my friends. Treasure those around you, before its to late. So There.

Children's Camp Tomorrow

Yo Peeps! Haven't updated in awhile. Kinda stressed up now. Orientation T-Shirt, Public Speaking Course, Catering, Sai-Kang, Hahas, they are just many of the challenges you face in life. I should give thanks anyway. Since others feel that I am up for the job. Hehes, YUP! I am happy that I am given all these tasks. Hahas, going for children's camp tomorrow. And NO I am no Kid. 2012 Is Freakin' Awesome!

Yo Yo Peeps! Went to watch 2012 with JL, TL, Gi, Sheng and Ed. Went to Ikea with JL in the morning to eat breakfast. Met Ed there. Had French Toast and MeatBalls. Awesome food there. Yo Peeps! Don't know why, but I am starting to read. The longest ever book I finished was The Little Prince. Yes. I Know. Sisters Keeper

Day 3- SL Retreat/Camp Land Expedition

Day 2- SL Retreat/Camp Part 1

Yo Peeps! Hehes, 2nd day was very fun. We played all the cool stuff. Once I reached the campsite, the peeps there were all so happy to see me. Hahas, so cool. Anyways, met my group, Trainer Akasha told me to change. Did that, started playing. It was the log thingy game. Basically you balance on the rock and try to navigate aronud it for a certain catorgary. Ours was according to our HP numbers. Mine started with 9692. I new for certain I belonged to the back. Yup. Fun. Another game was to balance 20 peeps on this 'inverted' cone thingy. Accidents happen. Chia Ee knee-ed Zaki's you know, soft bits. She felt so guity. Hahas. So There

Day 1- SL Retreat/Camp

Yo Peeps! Back from camp. Freakin Awesome. Hahas. It was at CCSC. Awesome stuff we did. And I actually can say that I bonded alot there. w00ts. Don't know why, but I kinda start to miss camp already. Anyways, Day 1. Went to school in morning, had Mos Burger with JL,Sheng,Ed and Gi. Created a new song. It was basically a mixture of the different things you hear that they make. Hahas. Yo Peeps! Apparently today was sort of sentimental for me. Lots of emotions run through my mine. Went for SL meeting before and after school. Hehs. Went for lunch after school. Very hungry. Yo Peeps! Just Woke Up. Conferenced with JL and Edwe last night. Apparently it did not last very long. Hahas. Went to worship practice yesterday. Hehes. Guitarist with YX(1) Pianist was YX(2). Hehes. Still practicing Tears In Heaven by Eric Clampton. Beautiful song. Very sad. He wrote it for his son which passed away. After church will be heading to JL's house. Never been there. YO PEEPS! Awesome day today. Went to Somerset for M.Tech Duty. According to Bryan, It was Mr Tan's friend's brother's relative's sister's son.......Blah Blah. Anyways, you get the whole idea. The project was actually about AIDS. It was to make AIDS "Dissapear". There was this board that has the word AIDS on it. The letters were formed with condoms. Yep. Okatoma condoms. Physics Test....

Yo Peeps! Just returned home. Tired. Drained. Physics test. Quite Easy. I think why people tend to get afraid of exams is because of this psychological block they have. In order to do something well, you should not be afraid of that certain thing. Just take exams as homework. Before you know it, its already over. Hahas. Hopefully that will help. Going to church later for worship practice. Guitarist again. As usual. Since I can't really play any other instrument except the pathetic recorder. Hahas. Songs are pretty easy. Most are D chords. Yo Peeps! Just got back. From the library. Went to Subway with Jie Chern, Tyr, Joshua and Keith. Ordered the usual. Cold Cut Trio. Stranded On One Freaky Friday...

Yo Peeps! Today was AWESOME! After school was the SLB's President/Secretary Election everyone was GREAT! Hahas. I could see that some of them had trembling hands.. Hehes. I think I am gonna vote for ***************. It's A Secret. (Duh). Anyways, after the speeches and such, we went back to the SL Room. Played Carrom, Scared tons of girls and guys with fake latex cockroaches. Super FUN! Especially with Su Wen and Wen Hsuen. Wen Hsuen overcame the fear though. Hahas great fun. Carrom was great to. ME+HEWITT+JI KANG+(Another Talent Not Yet Found) = One Hell Of A Game. Loved The Time With You Guys! My back still hurts though. I fell of the sofa while sleeping....Sighs. Lovely weekends! After School.

After school today, decided to stay back and study. Our Study Group= Me (Duh!) + Jin Li + Jin Feng + Jia Yi. Pretty much there. We did not manage to study much because of.... you know. The noise, the distractions. Sigh i shall go and eat dinner now. Oh Ya, Good Luck to Yik Loong, Hewitt and Wen Hsuen! All the best for tommorows campaign. Not forgetting Syuhrah and Michelle! Thursday....Practical Class

Today was a fun day. As usual. And during F'n'N practical class today, we di-siaoed Jonathan. Hahas. Very Fun. We made a Money Pouch. Which is basically, Tau Pok stuffed with meat and other vegetables. With chilli sauce at the side....Sedap! The next dish was Tau Suan. Boring dish. I did not really eat that stuff. Wacky Wednesday

Yo Peeps! Today was damn fun. During Phys Eds we learnt a new game. Rounders. It almost the same as Baseball. But somewhat different, more miniature. We went into groups and started with a little passing. After awhile of that, we went to the batting and fielding. Very Fun. After school, there was this meeting for all the Ex-Co Nominees. I told Su Wen that she had to come. But NO! She didn't belief. Fine. Since she did not wanna go, Mary came along and told her. "SEE! TODAY HAVE MEETING WHAT!" I told her, she started blamming me. Whatever for? I mean I was the person that was right! Sigh, Mary is on her side. Together, they shot me down. I just don't get it you know?! They always think that they are right. I told Su Wen while laughing and that was IT! I told her during recess, Ms Chew came up to me and asked me and Edward to convey a message to her and that's what I did. As I was laughing since Edwe made me laugh, she thought that i was bluffing {=.=} Sigh. And I was in the wrong. SO THERE!

Mediation Works?

For the first time, I actually mediated for two of my friends. I dunno whether they think its mediation or not, but I feel that it is. To see my friends being happy makes me very very satisfied and happy. I feel so proud of myself. No really. Now I think that the talk I went during the Sept Hols actually benefited me. Hahas. Tuesday Is Today.

Yo Peeps! Just got home. Tired and drained. As usual. Today was kinda boring(again). Hahas. Anyays, I feel so guilty when I PS-ed Edward. Oh my goodness. What kind of a friend am I!? I mean he personally asked me to wait for him because he has A.A.R (After Action Review). But NO! I did not. And it is not the first time I did this to him. I am SO SO SORRY. Its OK if you don't forgive me. No really. Sigh, today at the Lower Secondary Student Forum, it ws kinda interesting. But one comment totally destroyed the SLB. And that comment was made by an SL herself. She asked why students cannot wear ankle socks to school and furthermore, SL's catch them during roving duty. And this was what destroyed the SLB, She said that when SL's catch ordinary students, they themselves wear ankle socks. Sigh! We Outta be ashamed of ourselves being Student Leaders. No worries. I never wear ankle socks. I get blisters and it seriously irritates. Sigh. The world now....So There.

I Finally Saw The Light

Yo peeps! I am back. Just finished revising Physics. I finally found a way to revise. It is useless to read (stare) at the textbook. Instead, I used Post-Its'. I summarised the page and write whatever I summarised into the Post-It. It works very well for me. Dunno about you. Hahas. I guess I am going to get and earful tommorow at school for not attending the Forum. Anyway, I kinda deserve it. My absent-mindedness destroyed me. Sigh. Hopefully I can change. Till next time. Monday. Nothing Much.

Hey Hey! Just returned from school. Feeling extremely drained. Never like Mondays. I thought at first, hey thats a good idea. But no. turns out that if school starts later, it ends way later. oday during F'n'N class, came this new relieve teacher, since Mrs Lee is on course. He is Jonathan. I was kinda flabbergasted when I saw him carrying a F'n'N textbook in his hand! Wow. Alumni members. Wonder if he gets paid....Anyway, his teaching method is ok...other than moving at the speed of lightning. I was trying to capture what he is trying to say and in the cause of that, I screwed up. I totally forgot about the student's forum. Sorry Teachers! Gee, I was so engrossed in my work I totally forgot. Sigh. I think I would love to have a 5x10 notebook for my birthday, it can easily fit into my pocket. And during CE, the topic was sex. And as usual, there were these giggles here and there. Many questions asked. I felt that the topic was too general. I think I shall hit the sack now. See Ya Peeps. So There.

Church Today

Yo peeps! Just finished ironning my uniform. Just cut my hair. Just Bathe. Today, church was so interesting. I join the chinese service. I know I know. Its kinda weird for such a great english speaking guy like me (BHB) to join a chinese service. Anyway, there was a special guest today. He is a British guy that speaks CHINESE. And his chinese is Powderful yo! I am so ashamed of myself. Me being chinese, I can NEVER ever speak such fluent chinese. Anyway, todays sermon was about the Lord's wish. We are like stones. And to build a house, you need stones. We are the stones. God picks us. Carefully. If one stone is bigger than the other, the house will topple. Every stone is needed to be of same size. And today, Augustine asked me to teach him: When You Say Nothing At All, on the guitar. I was shocked. Why? Cause he is the guy that usually teaches me. Not the other way round. Anyways, its still better to learn from each other. Hope I become a better teacher. Today is Gwen's Birthday. Lucky girl. She better bring more plastic bags tomorow. Nothing significant happened today. No trips, No Outings, NOTHING. All I did was camp at home and visited my Grandma. So I suppose thats a trip. Anyways, looking forward to tommorow. Church. Friends. Airport Trip With Edward

Today was interesting. Me and Edward went for a Airport trip. We went there to study. So ya, we met at the Gracehaven Bustop near mine and his house. The trip was kinda boring, i soon found myself asleep. I was the rudely interrupted by this jerk on the bus...I think the driver hit the brakes to fast and hard. Afterwhich, we arrived. We decided to Makan first...I mean, in order to study, we nidda have food. So, we were at T2, Edwe decided to go to T1, we took the skytrain across. When we reached T1, the viewing gallery was under construction, furthermore, the were no nice restaurants there for makan, so....you know the rest, we went back to T2. We went to Pasta de Waraku, we were 4th in the list. After 15 mins or so, we went in. lunch was okay...I ordered a Sausage Carabela, Edwe-Neopolitan. Soon, we found a quiet spot and started to mug. When we were done, we went to IKEA. To buy Hotdogs. They were priced at $1. Kinda cheap and worth it. I guess its these simple things in life that makes it SO SO WONDERFUL. God Bless. So There.

Yesterday During Inter-Departments

Yes. Inter-department games. It was kinda interesting. I reached School at 7am in the morning yesterday....Gee, wasn't feeling the best of myself. I was feeling groggy still when my alarm rang. Decided to take some Panadol..When it started, We did Icebreakers. As Usual. I just dun get it....why is there Icebreakers whenever there is a group of people? Anyways, we had Double Whacko, as the first....or I thought so...Hahas there was this moment when Sheryl wacked Say Hao so hard he started to tear..Hehes. Then there was the ball games(Don't Think Sick Ya?) As a Gamemaster, I was in charge of Poison Ball. The very 1st group was Aesthetics and Student Wellness. and Wow! Aesthetics was GOOD! They "Destroyed" SW in 17 secs!!!!! Brilliant. The main programme was the wet activity. Or I thought so....it turned out to what i did not thought it was..kinda messy. At the end, we drenched most of our SL's with water...Muahahas. I am SO sadistic...It Was A Great Day. So There.
